Hello :)

U-He Plugs maybe the best creative tools ever, but with the worst design ever :P But ok, the newer plugs have a better design now and it is getting better. And the function is more important.

BUT I really miss a U-He style sampler! Not a random sampler, a creative sampler with something like a realtime pitch correction, pitch detection and automap sampler with many modulation possibilities, macto knobs and many on board effects!

This would be so nice! There are not many good samplers and every sampler have neither no creative potential nor basic useful functions!

We have enough syntzhs but no U-He sampler! This is needed so bad!

the orange was better. :)
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

People voting:
don't confuse the u-he sampler idea with the old sampler inside Zebra one...

I voted yes, sure! :)

No thanks...

Love how the poll is split exactly down the middle (at least at this point).

Probably not for me. With Zebra 2 and Dark Zebra being so much fun...Diva (or maybe Bazille!) is probably next for me even if a u-he sampler becomes available.

Do like the idea behind some of the sample libraries out there...Spitfire for one, has great marketing vids that make it all sound drool-worthy.

So I could be sold...have to assume u-he would want any sampler they built to be head and shoulders above others in all respects - especially sound quality - sport new tech of their own design, and then even over-deliver on those expectations for us.

I think of my daw as one big sampler.

If it were a creative sampler in the vein of Shortcircuit but done the u-he way, definitely. Mostly I'm still using Shortcircuit despite having payware samplers, because nothing beats it for workflow and creative possibilities.

Not holding my breath, though, as they seem to have a lot of plates spinning right now.

A kind of Diva sampler, which would behave like old Akai ones, SP-12/1200, ASR-10 and such... would be absolutely lovely. And an instant buy here.

+1 to this.

It would be cool if you could get old school workflow with a built in sequencer too.

I dot know what you mean but I also say yes. :)

Just a sampler, U-He style would be nice!

Maybe some advanced resampling possibilties could be enough to use some synth stuff...

Honestly I'd rather see u-he focus on a core set of really high quality products, rather than stretch themselves thin. Releases take enough time as it is now, and that's fine because quality takes time. But too many products means either corners get cut or release times become unreasonable.

Plus the time it'll take to get decent libraries happening. I'm personally quite satisfied with what I can accomplish with Kontakt... hmmm: unless the u-he sampler could load Kontakt libraries... No! NO! NO! :hihi:

I really like the synth trip u-he is already on. After Diva, I can't wait to see how wonderful Z3 will sound and how flexible it will be. And by the time Bazille comes around, we'll be another few CPU generations from now with more horsepower to handle what it can require. I like the paths u-he are on right now. :tu:

Absolutely interested, but it would have to:

offer me a lot of very cool and interesting options

be set up in such a way that it encourages me to do things I've not thought of before

Be really easy and fun to use when I know what I want

We already have Bazille and Zebra 3 that are waiting in the wings for 2014...
