So the 2079 is the beta then? But what is the 2036? This is confusing..I'd like to go back to the lastest stable, but in a way I can't.

Post

You can, download the regular installer from Zebra 2 page and run it.

Thanks for the info. I still don't get the differences in versions. Is 2079 then a beta or not? What is 2036 then, if in 2079 already the Distortion-Modules are implemented?

Thanks for clarification, now I get it:

The first post was edited, and 2079 is the update for 2036.

The one reason that has been holding me back from buying Zebra has finally come true!

Now I know I am only a demo user and most of your probably feel I am not entitled to any help but could somebody PLEASE explain how this mystical distortion works. I guess thats what I get for being a sylenth1 haha.

I have absolutely no clue what I am doing with it haha!

Some planned "..." mod slots for the new dist module?

Not sure atm, but it seems I always want to kb track parameters like pre/post tilt and center freq.

Post

Would definitely be great to have some modulation for various distortion parameters.

BTW Urs, the buttons in bottom left of MSEG (various mouse modes), they are blue here. Weren't they green before, or is my brain farting again? :D

? They're in there already. (Sheldon voice:) How can you not see them?

Post

Yes, that's via the matrix, but 3ee meant on the Distortion panel itself.

Good news: Our brand new addition to the team, Basti, has finished the design for the new distortion modules after two painful days learning the ui editor basics. It's also finished in the Unempty Dark Horse. We yet have to verify it on PC, but I think it's good to go.

With some luck we'll even have a ZebraHZ beta before x-mas then.
