Ugh, I didn't even get deep enough into B4 to experience that. In B3 I use the waveform as a visual cue when first setting up the envelope, and just use my ears to tweak from there. Yet another little thing that made B3 so nice.

Does B4 write as a separate program and .dll or does it seek to override the previous installation of B3?

They are separate applications that can exist side-by-side, even in the same project. (I do like B4's factory kits and use them occasionally.) Existing DAW projects that use Battery 3 will still load Battery 3 after installing Battery 4.

Next time I set up a DAW system I have to install Kontakt 4 from Komplete 6, then Battery 3 from Komplete 8 (it's a cleaner, more complete install than the one from K6), and then all of Komplete 9.

Yeah, got my K7 to K9U upgrade today

Quite an installation procedure, but the hdd is definitively much easier than juggling dozens of DVDs.

It is great for synth leads........and pads........and plucks......lots of things apparently.

For those that were upset that the full version of Komplete 9 wasn't half off, I'm selling my full version (not upgrade, etc.) in the Marketplace.

Get it much sooner than if you were to order from NI!

Been thinking about this since the deal ends soon. Monark would be great but battery 4 is a backward step IMO and I dont need another piano and the strings is not that highly rated so still dithering. I would like Monark though

I'm in the UK. I ordered Komplete 9 update on Sunday and it was here yesterday (Thursday).

I thought, though I might be wrong, I saw something about a discount voucher - I got the K9 upgrade + a sample bundle for my step son.

Anyone else saw something about a voucher? It's not with the K9 box. I was wondering if I could use it against an on sale item (RC24) that I probably wouldn't bother with otherwise. Maybe the voucher will come through after the sale.

When do you think Native Instruments will have a sale on Komplete?
