Nope, I have the latest public beta which is available to all, nothing more/less.
Sounds? nobody here heard them yet... didn't show them within the SC link posted earlier...

Congratulations team U-he!

Zebra is the most versatile synth I have and it's so easy to use. I am never...EVER letting it go!

Here's to 10 more years!

I couldn't be with Zebra from the very beginning (version 1 was Mac only), but I dug out the email I got from Urs (on december 6th 2005) after having purchased Zebra 2 the day it was made available for purchase on Share-It. So, on friday the 6th I'll sit down and pour myself the best single-malt in my collection, and enjoy a silent moment, remembering the good old first days with Zebra 2.0 ;)
Hiya Torben,

Thanks for purchasing Zebra2 so early!

I still have no formal reply. So I'll send you another email when
there's a version that accepts serial codes, probably in a week or two.

Thanks,

;) Urs
So, here's to 8 years of pure Zebra 2 joy!

Cheers.

hehe, i just said nice sound on your track, it's sounds like some new type
of osc.
I was surprised by that supersaw kind of color and the bells are very nice also. :tu:

My congratulations to the U-He team, I've been using recently Zebra for my sound designs and I have to say that it is a Swiss army knife tool!

Looking forward to try the new distortion module and make some patches with it :D

Thanks!

My congratulations to the U-He team and all the users of Zebra. It is just the best synthesizer ever.

Here is my little present: Zebra patch that quite good recreates Diva Digital Osc in supersaw mode.

I tryed to tweak it so the main features are similar. For example, detune law:

It is interesting how nonlinear detune adds the motion into sound! Ideally user would have control at detune curve.

Detune in my patch cannot be so wide as Diva due to some Zebra limits, but it correspond to the value of 76 in Diva, which is enough for practical needs.

How to use the patch: there are ModMixer1 Const and Modmixer2 Const parameters that are correspond to Detune and Multi parameters.

And this is how it sounds (theme from Rank1 remix of Cygnus X - Awakening:

Of course Zebra sound is cleaner, but in overall has the similar character.

Here is the patch:

Now working at stereo version.

Edit: Patch and demo replaced with new versions (refined detune law).

alright how do i save that file when i click save as it's just a text file? edit:please upload it as a zip chrome and others save as text even with h2p extension.

A cool trick to try:

OK, a single osc doing a saw in eleventh mode ...with phase re-trigger, no detune.

nothing interesting so far...

mod matrix: modulate detune with a very short envelope decay so it will spread the wave copies and freeze them ;)

... more control? try the osc phase parameter to finetune timbre further.

There's more to this... Comb filter fan? hinthint ;)

added:

a more solid timbre if the osc wave stereo width is set to 0.

My Best to THE VERY BEST!
Thank you!

Various browsers do it various ways. Usually there is something like "Save link as..." in the context menu.
Ok, here is the zipped preset:

:) This is my usual way to do the macro in Zebra. Would be great if Zebra has some macro knobs. I know, there are XYs, but I somehow don't like it in some cases. May be because of they are 2-dimensional and I sometimes prefer 1d, may be because they are bi-directional with different coefficients (harder to tweak). I'd prefer if XYs wouldn't be mapped to controls but appear like usual modifiers in the modulation sources menu.
