Associated with a SLIGHT modification of the background pane (the voices/pitch bend labels look like dropdowns, a bit confusing), it looks something like this:

BTW (I'm annoying now, sorry ), did you notice that my dropdowns (voices, mode, PB up/down) are 1 px less tall than yours? Specifically, the bright line on the bottom is not there. This centers the label text properly against the dropdowns.

Umm...I'm not sure I understand what the issue is

The boxes are exactly the same dimension as the default ones (I used the orig GUI for alignments and stuff). On the blue version the light got a bit inverted due to some additional layering - so you're saying the light border should be up and the darker one down, or that the boxes should be placed higher?

Well I made this skin primarely for my personal use since I wasn't so keen on the default GUI but IMO it turned out fairly ok What do you think?

Please make some skins for Zebra!

Oh, now I see How the heck have I missed that? Not only one pixel shorter, but on the red version the menu backgrounds were placed also one pixel too high and to the left - no wonder the text didn't align, heh Thank you very much for pointing out the issue and for all the great help you've provided - without you these skins wouldn't have been completed

EDIT: spoken too soon, heh There was a slight mistake in the read me file so I had to reupload the pack.

For the folks that had trouble installing the skin without deleting the original files (basically ended with a blank GUI), here's why:

On step 3 - it seems it's critical to have this text displayed on 2 lines, not one (as erroneously posted in the initial guide) - so it should look like this:

ALTERNATIVE name='Default' filename='Zebralette_orig.txt'
INCLUDE filename='default'

Now it should work. Thanks again to EvilDragon for all the help

Just FYI :

Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love.

Red is a very emotionally intense color. It enhances human metabolism, increases respiration rate, and raises blood pressure. It has very high visibility, which is why stop signs, stoplights, and fire equipment are usually painted red

(in other words : Red is the color of danger)

Personally, I can't look at the color red when I'm in the midst of a creative process. it is also backed by psychological researches :

Current work ..... demonstrate that red (versus blue) color induces primarily an avoidance motivation (versus approach) ....and that red enhances performance on a detail-oriented task, whereas blue enhances performance on a creative task

I am fully aware of the significance and effects of the red colour - that's specifically why I have chosen it Coming to think of it, most of my fav GUIs are also red. It just works for me. But for the folks who don't dig it, there's the blue version
