I don't understand sometimes why people quote to try and make me look silly, i mean no disprespect, but i did use the word "full".

I know what it uses hyperthreaded cores for as they have explained it clearly. But it's pretty easy to see in a loaded reason project, by simply using a utility like istat, that you will see for example 80%, 5%, 70%, 2%, 75%, 3%, 81%, 4%

This is just an example, with the lower figures being the virtual cores.

Cubase, Logic, Live, S1, Pro tools

75%, 70%, 80%, 85%, 80%, 75%, 70%, 71%

Relax, Theo. No one is trying to make you look silly. I thought it was information worth reiterating is all.

For the record, I'm actually in agreement that RE's could use performance improvement. Simply utilizing SSE instructions would be a fantastic start.

Actually they announced it wasn't an attack at all, but a precautionary measure to take down the forums. I'm wondering too though, i would've expected it to be up again after 3 weeks time...

Its pretty obvious they are in the process of a forum revamp and knowing props it will be a pleasant surprise.

The forum could be gone for good based on the webpage statement:
In the light of these events, we have decided to take down the Propellerhead forums and right now it's unclear when and how we will bring them back.

As usual, you can find us and other Reason users on our social media channels. Join us there while we are looking into this problem.
Looks like they wish to utilize Facebook/Twitter for communication instead?

But they are using the same SDK with the same limitations, features etc. I don't know what the SDK looks like, but wouldn't they provide Devs with info how to optimize REs to make sure they more efficient for the platform? Why keep info like this to themselves? I mean it would be beneficial for all. I am not accepting thats its because it their tech they can code better.

The forum is not gone for good. Scottym is just putting the final touches on the redesign.

Designing some special filters that will repel any cat picture posted is of course delicate coding that needs the proper time :D

I find it hard to believe that they have the same limitations as external devs. Most probably they have access to some private API's that are able to access stuff outside the RE's sandbox. That would be a normal thing to do. Just like Apple have lots of private API's on iOS that are not accessible for 3rd party app devs.
