I just got Band in a Box and am thrilled, it's damn cool. I can copy midi from it and paste it right into Tracktion. Now I need some decent soundfonts to use with 'rgc: audio sfx' to bypass my comp's cheesy MS GS sounds. Can anyone recommend anything freely available on the web? Or is there another free solution that will use the GM midi drum mapping? thanks!

There's a link to it in the free Soundfont thread mentioned above, but probably worth mentioning that if it's drum sounds you're after then ns_kit (http://www.natural-studio.co.uk/ns_kit.htm) is certainly worth a look. It's freely available as a Soundfont (as well as other formats) and has excellent drum sounds.braj wrote:Or is there another free solution that will use the GM midi drum mapping?
