Since I needed a waveform rescan which Synthmaster wouldn't perform on it's own after adding my own waveforms, I have looked around through my system to see how else I could force Synthmaster to rescan.

I've found the SynthMasterConfig.txt in C:\Users\<Your Username>\Documents\SynthMaster\Config and apart from having those 2 parameters, which, if set to "1", performed the waveform rescan perfectly:

Force Rebuilding of Factory Waveforms=0
Force Rebuilding of User Waveforms=0

... I also noticed some other interesting parameters like:

Oversample=False

I was wondering if it might make sense to set this to "True" via this config file to obtain an even better quality from Synthmaster or what exactly this parameter is for there, as it seems it can't be changed in the Synthmaster VST plugin config directly.

It would really be cool if someone could from the developers could comment on those parameters (there are a lot more in that file actually).

Thanks a lot:)

deleting the SynthMasterTemp folder under

Mac: /Users/Shared
Windows: Common Documents/

would rescan all waveforms and rebuilds presets database.

or alternatively set those Force Rebuild parameters to 1 for a rescan.

Regarding that oversample parameter I think it's something we dont use anymore, instead you can set the global engine quality from under the settings tab to Good (x2 oversample), Better (x3 oversample) or Best (x4 oversample)
