Arrrgh, the installer script fainted about a bug in the newly added (and untested) AAX section. We're fixing this and we'll upload new versions shortly.

Updated Uhbik (Win) to rev 2132 - this time containing a proper installer

ZebraHZ to follow shortly - Clemens and Rob are currently doing some other stuff, I'll ask Clemens to upload it before beer.

I think it is… Clemens and Rob mumbled something before we went for a beer.

It was already online early on, but the GUI file didn't have the modules yet (I forgot to add it to our build servers)

I *THINK* I'm starting to see the light...

There is some progress on my end regarding the CPU load.

I just wanted to share with you :

It SEEMED that disabling SATINs ASIO-Guard (ALONE) in Cubase 7.5 solved my problems. I freely instantiated 10 SATIN and the CPU barely scratched the 30%

Great !

Then came the other thing...

I started processing through SATIN.

1 VSTi - OK (SATIN on its default preset)
1 more VSTi - OK
1 audio - OK
1 more audio - OK
4 more audios - OK

The CPU meter parks at 50-60& - hey that's great !

Then, I dragged audio to the ninth slot a BAM ! the meter jumped from ~50 to 90% (!) and crackle starts.

I must stress that I am running at 64 sample latency. I'll up it to 256 and report.

But the thing with the ASIO guard should give you food for thought...

Hmm… what is ASIO guard?

We've been quite stunned by the diverse experience of people even with very similar systems. It is a lot like a deja vu from the time Diva came out. If we can pinpoint it to a certain property or set of circumstances, the we'd have something to work with

came in with Cubase 7/Nuendo 6.. basically allows recorded stuff to play back at a higher sample buffer than what you are currently recording so you can hopefully get more power out of your computer..... Logic has had something similar for years, don't remember what it is called there.

This was introduced recently and did cause RME a minor adjustment in their drivers.

I haven;t tried without yet but I am wondering if this is whats casuing spiking whilst Satin is laying dormant (no audio passing through but on) in an audio strip.

Want to add been going through various preset banks with the new DIVA updates and wow, the uhbie is amazing. The GUIs on all are very nice. Diva I just want a hardware version lol, keep wanting to reach out to the dials and tweak...abolish the mouse

Revisited ACE not used in a while, forgot how versatile it is, the sound is astounding and is way up there.
