Hi,

I'm testing the zebra, it's a great synth at first sight. Is it possible to import your own sampled single cycle wave forms ? I did a search in the manual, but it didn't find it direct.

best regards

Hehe, we've always been a bit against it because sampling would kind of "take away" from Zebra.

However, various people created tools to import waveforms into Zebra, there's a whole thread about it here:

(and yes, it's one of the most requested features and we're *this* close to implement it)

There's a program that can do this for you, is it called Blueberry Thing or something like that? I think it's on the U-he page somewhere. I'm fairly sure it uses the spectroblend oscillator, though, which can lack high end detail for low notes.

The few times I've wanted to copy a waveform I've taken a screenshot of the wave playing on a 'scope, and just tried to copy it with the geomorph oscillator. Obviously using a spline system is best suited to geometric-looking waveforms, though.
