0.9.7 MIDI Guitar released
0.1.0 MIDI Bass released - thanks for the license
One problem, they both use the same default Project.

Midi bass was very impressive, I've never played a bass with such a low latency. Tracked well even when playing fast.
Cpu was 12% here, my highest cpu synths run at 4%, so 12 is totally insane. The other audio to midi plugin I use w/bass runs at 0.2%.

How does Midi Guitar compare (performance wise) to the other audio to midi plugin you use? what other one do you use?RunBeerRun wrote:Midi bass was very impressive, I've never played a bass with such a low latency. Tracked well even when playing fast.

MIDI GUITAR is a very intensive CPU eater...memyselfandus wrote:How does Midi Guitar compare (performance wise) to the other audio to midi plugin you use? what other one do you use?RunBeerRun wrote:Midi bass was very impressive, I've never played a bass with such a low latency. you guys should make a Hardware version also!!!! just a little box.
and have the software as a Optional editor for all the Extra features. bout time someone comes along and brings the pricing down on the other units..
like this one that only does monophonic

if you guys figured out how to do this with a Vst... this may be easy..

From the WhatsNew.txt:ariajazz wrote:What's new in 0.9.7 version?
* Fixed issue introduced in 0.9.6 where pitch sensitivity values would be
wrong. This cause bad recognition if (and only if) version 0.9.6 is the first
version of MIDI Guitar you have used.
* Fixed issues with pitch sensitivity sliders.

I think 9.6 is the only one I have not tried.

I use it linked to my old RME multiface as this doesnt have a preamp, latency is amazing and the firmware is upgradable

Not sure, midi guitar doesn't follow my relaxed playing style, so I haven't tested it much. The other one I mentioned is pitch xtractor, compiled from the Synthmaker forum.memyselfandus wrote:How does Midi Guitar compare (performance wise)

Ok, great it tracks well for you. CPU is indeed very high as mentioned but this is something we can likely optimise along the way.RunBeerRun wrote:Midi bass was very impressive, I've never played a bass with such a low latency. Tracked well even when playing fast.
