SM 2.6.8 Notes clip, distort and never end

From the previous version of 2.6, I installed 2.6.8 and RobLee Exp5, Nori Exp9 and Nori Exp10.

Now, in my Logic 9 project that functioned previously, no matter what preset I select in SynthMaster, the note clips and distorts. The note(s) never stop playing until I select another preset.

Mac OS X 10.6.8
Logic Pro 9.1.8 64 bit

I deleted my application support and reverted to 2.6.7 Same problem.

The 2.5 installation process rescans new user waveforms, fixing my problem. The full 2.6.8 Setup installer works ( doesn't create the problem). It is the partial OS X 2.6.8 updater that creates the problem of distorted and unending notes.

My problem is solved.

I think I should test upgrading from v2.5 to v2.6 properly. Sorry for that

I have this problem with the 2.6.9 version.
Tried both upgrade and full version install, but I've already emailed you about it. Sorry to spam you, but I really hoped to be using it this weekend.

Not sure what to do. Is it possible to get the 2.6.8 version to see if it behaves the same now. It worked fine before upgrading.

I upgraded Reaper and Synthmaster at the same time, if that has something to do with it.

Yep, I ran the 2.6.9 updater and I'm getting the same problem...again!

Can you fix the 2.6.9 updater and full installer so it forces a rescan of all wavetables and user installed presets?

The Synthmaster 2.5 installer does this and, when I run my DAW, it says:

"Synthmaster is being run for the first time. Factory wavetables will be initialized now." ... same for user presets. Once it does that for me, no more distortion.

I tried running 2.5 installer then 2.6.9 but that fix did not work this time. Maybe I forgot to remove a temp directory in /User/Shared/ ?

How can anyone's Synthmaster work at all? My install is not abnormal.

Delete

on windows : Public Documents\SynthMasterTemp folder
on macosx: /Users/Shared/SynthMasterTemp folder

I ended up removing it every time I re-installed 2.6.9. I kept an eye on that folder throughout the installation process. Did not work.

Anyone else try that?

Did not work for me either. Sorry.
Reaper scans it as a new vsti, but the same behaviour is shown by synthmaster.

Is it possible to upload the 2.6.8 version again? I deleted my installation file for it too soon.

Was hoping to use synthmaster on a project that I was supposed to deliver 10.december.

As for forcing a waveform re-scan on Windows, you go to:

C:\Users\<Your Username>\Documents\SynthMaster\Config and open the SynthMasterConfig.txt file with notepad or an editor. Then look for:

Force Rebuilding of Factory Waveforms=0
Force Rebuilding of User Waveforms=0

and set to 1, so that it looks like:

Force Rebuilding of Factory Waveforms=1
Force Rebuilding of User Waveforms=1

Next time you startup Synthmaster it will rescan all Waveforms.

Mac: /Users/Shared/SynthMasterTemp
Win: Common Documents/SynthMasterTemp

It works fine with the new license file. It was the registered email/paypal-email switching that messed it up.
