Can the modmixer be used as a way to crossfade between 2 MSEG?

I'm trying to crossfade between 2 MSEG and to modulate the "mix" of both MSEG with an LFO. Is this even possible?

I tried the 3 modmixer modes and to modulate the constant with the LFO but it gives strange result. I don't really understand the explanation for the modmixer in the manual.

Tried it and it seems to work just fine.

To hear the effect I:

Made MSEG1 ramp up, and MSEG2 ramp down.

Mapped MMix1 to OSC1 Tune and turned the modulation amount to 48 (highest setting).

Mapped MSEG1 to MMixer Mod1, MSEG2 to MMixer Mod2, and LFO2 to MMixer Mod3.

Set the MMixer to Fade 1/2 by 3xC.

Set the constant to 100 so it is easy to hear the LFO modulation.

Set the MSEG2 to extend past the end of MSEG1, and set MSEG2 attack slower. This way MSEG2 does not complete before the Fade occurs.

When I play a note, as expected the OSC1 Tune goes high as MSEG1 modulates it, then comes down as the Fade to MSEG2 occurs. I hear the LFO modulating both the ramp up and the ramp down.

Hope this helps!
