My first Zebra Preset (High Strings)

I was inspired by studio cat's strings to try my own, 30 Min learning and fiddling. I think it sounds ok when not played with low notes, where it starts sounding bit crushed.
My Problems with it:
1) I've got no Idea how to add vibrato, I tried moving the OSC vibrato knobs, but it didn't really sound like an overall vibrato and there's no vibrato-delay/speed/amplitude? Should I probably try doing this with an LFO?
2) I've got also no clue how to create midi-key-dependent modulation (on filters, to mimic the variable EQ so to say). Should read the docs. Ah, well. There it is, anyway.

1) Vibrato knob is pre-assigned to LFO 1. Vibrato speed is adjusted in LFO 1 panel on the right hand side. Want delay? Modulate the LFO Amp parameter with an envelope that has some attack time.
2) Filters have keyfollow, but if you need a more detailed per-key adjustment, you should use ModMappers.

(I realize this is intelligent building blocks whereas I was acommodated to Sytrus...*cough..)

Okies, finished. (though it's deleting frequencies around some C)

Not necessary - the LFOs include a "delay" parameter.EvilDragon wrote:(re vibrato:) Want delay? Modulate the LFO Amp parameter with an envelope that has some attack time.

Though, it still needs a fix: both osc1-lfo1 and osc2-lfo1 need to be 0.5 (or -0.5). Especially Osc2-lfo1 is set much too high. With value (-)0.5, the Lfo1-Amp get's the right headroom I think, and that set to 30 seems ok. Osc-3-Vibrato should probably be 0 too. Dunno why I didn't realize the heavy vibrato.
BTW: Is there a way to enter values in Zebra?
PS: I'll read through the user guides now, didn't even know they exist. (though I should expect this from a product costing $199

Okies, version 0.8 now has the sane vibrato even assigned to the XY performance pad. Hope you don't mind me bumping the thread.
MM String Ensemble 0.8 https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-0MUq ... sp=sharing
Few observations with the XY tab:
1) Don't want to blame the user manual, but there's a text & picture in it that I misunderstood. Because of the picture I thought the right half of the *slider* (range bar) was for Y. I needed some time to realize that the picture does not intend to say this.

2) When I saved the preset, the lower range marker of the second Y-entry went into its label. (Rev2127)

You might have found it already, but if you hover the mouse over the knob, you can use the mousewheel to raise lower the value. If you press the SHIFT key while doing that, you get a very fine adjustment to enter an exact number.markm2 wrote:BTW: Is there a way to enter values in Zebra?
Highly recommend leaving the manual open while using Zebra. Most times the answer is in there, plus it's just a great reference. Ctrl+F let's me find most things very quickly.
