I shall + 1 that. I've got the boxed version here and it is a fine collection.

I've never heard gothic and industrial music from Pakistan, is there a electronic music scene at all?muslimpunk wrote:I work and live in Kuwait, but am actually from Pakistan.
The subcontinent's classical instruments and the raags hold a special place in my heart. Especially the sarangi, which to me is at least as expressive as the human voice, if not more so. I want to incorporate it into my compositions.
That is bizarre, because I have been mostly been doing death, blck, thrash, industrial , gothic and such like for the last 14 years.
It is a small world indeed.
Yeah tell me about it. I have trying to model it using samples and synthesis for a while now. Hard work to put it mildly.precisionsound wrote:If we get the opportunity to make it we will, it's on our list
It's difficult to make it authentic as a playable instrument from a keyboard with all the slides etc. but it's not impossible.

Yes the Santoor includes wav files. Almost all our libraries does there are some monolith Kontakt libraries, Tranzitone & Maestrovox.muslimpunk wrote: I like your site and general philosophy. Just might buy the Santoor. Just to be sure the download will include wav files right ? So I can build it up in sampler of my choice (for example tx16wx or alchemy). Coz i dont use nor plan to use Kontakt.
Okay, this is not exactly Indian classical, but definitely Indian - here's a sample-set of a bulbul tarang (aka. Indian banjo), from www.sampleism.com. Its for Kontakt, and it includes a custom script which reprodoces the monophonic playing mode with drone-notes of the original instrument (although a fully polyphonic mode is available too):muslimpunk wrote:Hello,
I am looking for free and cheap indian classical (melodic) instrument libraries....
