I love Rhino very much but there is a point that could be better:
The bank name in Rhino shows allways "internal" when I reload a project. So I can't see the name of the current bank. When I chose a bank prom the pull down menue and select one of the 64 presets, this bank name and preset name are NOT saved by the host program. Only when I load a bank the selected preset is saved correctly. So the bank name window makes no sense in VST.
It would be very usefull to see allways the actual bank name, like Albino is able to! Perhaps in Rhino 2?

Right - but what should be displayed in the bank name area if you:
- load "ambient bank"
- edit all the presets
- save your song

In this case your current presets list is not "ambient bank". That's why it makes sense to display it as "internal".

I agree it's confusing, though.

confusing indeed... I've always found this bank thing strange... but along with it, I could wish for some sort of a bank editior.

this is why:

Let's say I have 5 or so banks and I like a few patches in each and would like to quickly make a custom bank "MY FAV'S BANK" that was ONLY made of those patches... see what I'm saying? Perhaps it can be done now but not in any swift easy manner I know of... and, if I understand this rightly, when you reload Rhino, say in a SX project, it loads up with the defaulted internal bank, it becomes more confusing to get back to a given set of patches... am I confused or is this as it is?
