Is there a similar alternative to this EQ?
I demo it and love the sound. :harp:

Ps. Is it possible to resell this plugin, and maybe someone wants to sell it? :ud:

I don't think so.

They're from South America (Argentina if I remember correctly).

I checked in my old emails, and yep, it's Argentina.

Diego is Argentinian, and Boris is Peruvian, but lives in Argentina.

Where did this misinformation start from?

Sonimus are from Argentina.

Web trace says website is in Argentina, so i stand corrected.

However having no transfer policy listed prior to purchase is not cool anyway (have they changed that now?)

First product i truly love from them is this EQ, and i could make really good use of it, but i feel burned so won't purchase it, and that's the one with the demo sadly. (they can switch my tilt out for this and i'd be happy :) )

I've given them already $80 for stuff i don't use, (well at least now I can use satson as a meter and turn off the processing, so ok there's some out of that one finally :) )
Satson and Sweetone are less than $80 combined. What was the the 80 dollars for?

Theo your problem is you simply buy too much stuff. That's why A lot of things you get inevitably end up being redundant. You have serious plugin GAS (gear acquisition syndrome). The idea of getting something like Son EQ is to keep it and not to sell it on. I think it's priced accordingly too, it's cheap for a high end EQ.

The other thing is that Soneq has no drm or copy protection, so even if you could sell your licence on there's nothing stopping you from continuing to use the plugin.

I love SweeTone, and use the free CM version of Satson as a trim/VU meter..

Has anyone compared this with HoRNeT's new SW34EQ?

Theo, I think this is one of the few times that I disagree with you. I had the opposite experience with Sweetone and Satson vs VCC and Tilt EQ, I did have a chance to compare both since at the time I had my ilok with both of those licenses. :) They are good, but I actually preferred Sonimus' offerings, not a fan of NLS though.

I think Satson is a great console emulation, it thickens, gives space, and sheen to the audio just like an actual console, and it's very simple without bloat like the other options have. It also compared favorably to MLC for Nebula. I found Sweetone to be way more vibey than Tilt, a lot more character and "sweetness", sounds very analog.
