I have a place where I want a long break. I am using the Midi Command method. Mdrummer is randomly choosing from different break patterns. There is one particular pattern I want to use, but I don't know how to lock it in and stop the randomizaion.
Thanks for any help

Rhythm Editor..turn off random loops (Additional button). Bring up the loop you want in the MD loop editor tab by clicking on the loopbox (keyboard key) that relates to your midi command note and then clicking in the loop index list (to the right of the keyboard) for the specific loop...then see at the top of the loop editor panel "(triggered by velocity around...)". Set the velocity of your command note in your DAW midi editor.

THanks for the help I see basically how it is suppose to work. Unfortunately, ALL of the breaks in the set have the same triggered by velocity value, so it still seems to be randomly playing breaks.

What do you mean all of them have the same velocity? The velocity is spread through the whole velocity values - e.g. if you have 2 breaks, first one gets 0-63, second one 64-127. So you can just experiment. But do NOT forget you need to turn off random loops!
