Hi,
where can I find the presets? Of course I switched on the presets-checkbox during install,
but in bazille.data I find only one preset: initialize.h2p.
Using the 32bit version on Win-7-64.

We do not officially have presets yet. There's quite some in the PatchLib though:Chris-S wrote:Hi,

Yep, sorry for that - please try Pacifist from http://www.charlessoft.compmb_12 wrote:I get an error stating that the pkg file is damaged and cannot be opened. Using Mavericks.

Hi Urs,
Do you have a new estimated time of arrival for the release candidate for Bazille? We are Very much looking forward to it.

That L.U.S.H sounds interesting, any news on that synth? I love formant filters especially the one from liquid instruments whom I think they copied from melodyne? Would be interesting to hear a trance synth with similar filters.

(By all rights a holiday in the sun should be free of pestering, but if you're going to open the laptop and get online...)
Hi Urs,
Bazille is amazing. Is it safe to assume that presets we create now will still be of use once the synth moves into beta and eventual release? And will there be some manner of reducing CPU load (such as reducing # of voices or voice quality like Diva and Ace) that will allow recording at a level that doesn't overtax an older computer, but then can be rendered at the highest quality? Thanks.

Urs would have to give the final say, but one should not depend on presets being exactly the same. The current Bazille alpha is not feature complete.buescher wrote:(By all rights a holiday in the sun should be free of pestering, but if you're going to open the laptop and get online...)

We're going to try our best to keep Bazille backwards compatible.
The main difference is going to be the LFO module which now has 3 separate outputs for triangle, pulse and s&h. A shape knob lets one bend triangle to sawtooth / ramp, control pulse width and set contour for sample & hold. The LFOs now also have a phase knob. So what we need to do is to transform the waveform parameter of the original LFO into a set of output, shape and phase settings when importing old presets.
Furthermore I think Pan modulation, Resonance modulation, possibly the scaling of the quantize knob will be different, so not necessarily things that are used often or that break a sound completely.
With some luck all of these changes can be caught by a built-in preset importer. If not, then changes should be fairly easy to apply.

Hello, I was wondering if Bazille 0.6 is still available. I've downloaded the package provided in the link but it appears to be broken. I would really appreciate the download! Bazille 0.5 has helped me learn a lot more about synthesis and I've used some sounds in tracks that I hope to finish up. Thank you Urs for letting us test out and use this synth. It's been a real pleasure!

Please use Pacifist from www.charlessoft.com to unpack it. We used the wrong developer certificate to sign the package.

Hey,
could there be the same demo glitch on the latest Bazille build as the one that was corrected for Diva? I used this build today in Live, and it was making noise bits from time to time.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks Urs! This glitch ^^^ is why I'm trying to download the new one. Think your version may just be expired.

Guess it's not your version. I downloaded and unpacked using Pacifist but Bazille is basically unusable in Live 9.1. To be fair I'm getting audio crackles these days just using Live stock sounds but just loading up a sine wave with some release on it yields an insane amount of distortion. Too bad. Thought I had a hit on my hands but it will have to wait until Bazille is usable again.
