Hi

I installed latest version of Zebra, but when i load a Z2 instance, i have an error message, telling me that "file couldn't be opened [...]Scripts\Zebra2.txt [...]", and telling me that "the manual shows you how to move the data directory into Your Documents location".

I have read the PDF manual, but I couldn't find anything at the "installation & updates" and "files location" paragraphs...

Also, the GUI is not displayed : instead, i have another error message : "installation issue : no GUI resources"

So, could ayone tell me what i have done wrong, and what shoudl i do to fix it ?
I am a bit sorry about the newbie-like question, which migt have been asked several times already, but i couldn't find anything on the sticky topics around...

Hi,

It just means that the dll can not find the folders with all its resources (images, presets etc). There should be a Shortcut to Zebra2.data in the same Vstplugins folder as the dll, and that Shortcut should link to a directory preferredly in you User/Documents/ location. Thank you, Urs, for your quick (and nightly !) reply.

I think it was this :

additional things to look out for:
- do not keep an extra Zebra2.data folder in Vstplugins, only keep the Zebra2.data shortcut

Weird, I think it was working fine previously

Anyway, it works now
