Hi,
I demoed Diva which is nice, but unfortunately a waste of time for me as some of the presets can max out the CPU on my QX9650 PC :(

So how do I do a clean uninstall? Rerunning the installer package doesn't offer this up, and I can't see Diva registered anywhere. If this needs to be done manually could someone please provide the list of folders, files and registry keys to be deleted?

Thanks,
Roger

Just delete it from your hard drive. Installer doesn't put anything in registry.

By the way - you can always use lower Accuracy parameter, and set OfflineAcc to "best", this will reduce CPU load. Also, did you try enabling the Multicore button?

You wrote "some of the presets"
I've noticed that a large majority of mono type sounds use very little cpu, on my underpowered computer.
Might be worth it just to have good mono basses and leads, etc.
Some presets that use 16 voices and 4 stacks wreck my cpu as well.
Just use the lower voices and stacks.
All my sounds for it use lower cpu because of the lower voice settings.
Try it at least and see.

See the manual, page 3

Diva is something I'll look at again in a couple of CPU generations' time. With my current set up I'd end up having to disrupt the workflow by being forced to freeze tracks like in the old days with single core processors.

iirc the current i7 has a little over 3 times the power of my QX9650 so on a modern system the load should be workable.

However, I can appreciate why this synth is so highly rated.

Best,
Roger

See the instruction manual at the bottom of page 4, and change the accuracy to draft, if fast, great, or divine don't work for you. Though the previous advice may be better yet.
