Can't remember settings for songs in Cubase SX 2.2

just pointing it out. :)

likewise in Tracktion (which is a shame, because
apart from that it's fantastic :hail: ) :?

hi,

After trying it several times, I can't succeed in making it forget the presets,

however there are interaction between sync, delay, and max delay that some time leads to wrong values being restored when reloading a preset.

I won't maintain this one anymore in its state, but I am recoding it to be much cleaner than it is right now.

I should add for v2:
* a feedback path selector (ping-pong,paralelle...)
* more slots for presets
* highpass filter in the loop
* a (small) reverb.

cheers

awesome :)

While we're at it, I've noticed that when turning the Max-Delay knob, it also turns the Delay knob at the same time for some reason

Awesome new features for v2. Have you considered an LFO on the filters?

it's because the delay is defined between [0:max delay]
so the delay knob moves according to that.
IMO that was a mistake to have dependencies between parameters like that but having both great precision and great range always leads to difficult trade-off.

yep, but only if I manage to make it cpu cheap.
You don't want a cpu hog, isn't?
I need to work on the filter coefs computation for that.

Actually I don't mind, since I got my new 2.8Ghz. :D

yes but you'll always find a day where you'll want 10 instances of Analog Delay and 4 instances of your latest hardware emulation synth.
Add to that a compressor and an eq per channel and your favorite Sampler with a 1Go orchestra bank

and you'll find that maybe the LFO is too much for *that* song...

(me am jealous!)

I like the analog delay but I don't like the behaviour of the knobs. Could you please make them rotate while moving the mouse up and down?
I'd also like to see a pointer on the big delay knob. I actually find it hard to read with only text on top.

the knob behaviour should be linear in all hosts.

that can be done.
