Jo, did you change anything about the audio drivers in the last releases???

32 bit version runs fine but the 64 bit one shows a cpu usage of 10-11% in an empty session with my EMU driver...

If I turn it to ASIO4All driver it goes down to 0-1% (which is the normal value on my system with 32 bit version too, but 32 bit version does show 0-1% with the EMU drivers too)

No i didn't change anything there.

A new MuLab 5.3.25 test version is available in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/everest

What's changed since M5.3.24:
  • Fixed a potential crash bug when previewing audio files and REX files.
  • Fixed a potential REP-12 error while previewing sample files.
  • MUX Vst: While browsing for an audio/sample file, preview was not always working. Fixed.
  • When having loaded an mp3 or rex file then changing the audio and saving it, now it is ensured that it is saved as an aiff or wave, for MuLab/MUX can't write mp3/rex files (yet).
  • New preference "ConfirmDeletes": If off then non-undoable deletes are performed instantly without confirmation alert.
  • Removed test version expiration.
If you have already installed M5.3.14 or up, then you can apply the M5.3.25 app+ID file update only, so quick & easy to install, cfr http://www.mutools.com/mulab/app-patch/Read%20Me.txt

Please note that the complete MuLab and MUX Vst 5.3 packages have moved from the everest webfolder to the mutools.com download pages as they have been released now :) The quick app+ID patch updates (only useful if you already installed the M5.3.14 package) are still available in the everest webfolder for a couple of days.

ahh! Help! I don't know what I did or how to fix it! :(
I was working on a mix & I wanted to insert a sound file, so I clicked 'Session' at the top left, then 'Import Audio File', then found the one I wanted & clicked 'OK.' But when it put the file in, it shows up as a segment that isn't even a second long & I can't drag it either to make it longer, & on top of that it doesn't put out and sound when I play it. :/
I'm completely stumped, & annoyed. (Plus when I right-click on it & click 'Show Info' the following shows up:
Samplerate = 0 Hz
Channels = 0
Length = 0 samples = nan secs

I imported another sound bite earlier, & it plays fine, so I must've hit something on accident, but I don't know what. :(

That sliver on the lowest instrument line is how it's coming out. :(

I assume that's an incompatible audio file for some reason. Normaly i would expect an alert in that case but it must be some specific case. Solution for now: Delete the audio file from your session and don't use it. If it's not too big, feel free to put it online somewhere (YouSendIt, GoogleDrive, DropBox, ...) and mail me a link, then i can check that audio file.

I guess it was incompatible someway. I originally downloaded the file as a .wav file, & it wasn't working. So I reconverted it to .wav, & now it does.
Thx!

(Not really sure where to post this question. Rookie here.)
I'm on Mac & trying to install 'Frohmage' from Ohm Force.
https://www.ohmforce.com/UseFreeSoftwar ... roductId=6
I download it. Run the VST2 Installer, & do all that it says. I believe it's now installed, but I have no idea where to find it. I search 'Frohmage' in finder & nothing comes up. Can anyone help with this?

Post

Check the install path when you run the installer? maybe it'll tell you where it put the VST file
