Hey guys check it out! ... simple but cool chip stuff with the sine tree and the kb tracked decimator.

decimator: set kb track to max and cutoff to 24 for starters.
OSC: load the sine tree, phase reset on and phase to 12.5

now try the wave warp and check out the cool waves (if modulated via saw LFO for example gives cool rhythmic patterns, just don't forget to bring the wave warp to or more than 8.5 and mod amount to 8 )

if things get funky, disable the voice drift.

Sendy, I hope you don't mind me posting my stuff here based on your work :hihi:

Here's my current collection of the harmonic series oscs.

contains:

-Sendy's orig presets with some small edits (50% vol normalize and no mod wheel wave mod)
-a normal pulse
-a fake narrower pulse ("bit saw")
-2 "half" pulse which separates the square harmonics into 2, odd/even sets
-some more harmonic trees (incl Maj3rds and P5ths) + alternatives

Thanks again to Sendy for the hard work on the Square and Saw harmonic series, used them quite a bit to make the other waves :)

Edit: updated small partials mistake in the maj 3rd harmonic series.
Edit2: updated again, small problem with the perfect 5th harmonic series, last partial was out of place.
All should be good now.

Been posted more than once, but here's a load of oscillator presets I made a while back.

Check out the 8 presets from "Harmonic Ratios" to "Perfect Fourth". With the exception of the first, which is an assortment of different ratios, they're all "sweeping" wavetables.

great stuff I'm missed out on, thanks for sharing! :)

Rediscovering Sendy's Zebroscillators atm, some fantastic stuff in there too! :tu:

No, feel free to remix the wavetables or whatever. All I ask is if you use anything from Zebroscillators in some other preset project (i.e. something that isn't just posted here), you give me a mention in the docs and link to my soundcloud. If you use them in music, no real need to credit unless you want to, as we're all borrowing heavily from eachother when we do that anyway, it's pretty much a given.

Zebroscillators has pretty much doubled in size since I uploaded it and I'm thinking of releasing a "pro" version with some of the kinks ironed out, maybe as "pay what you want". Because really (1) they've taken a long time to make and (b) I honestly don't think I'll be able to use them all because there are so many :hihi:

I'd love to see that released some day. Very few banks/presets out there seem to think much beyond the basic waveforms. I remember the first time I played with the sounds in Zebraoscillators thinking "this is definitely different, I need to pay attention to what's going on here". I'd toss you a fiver to at least get you a pint for your troubles. :)

Just uploading a video to youtube showcasing a quick blast of all of the wavetables. Had to cut some of them out as it ended up longer than 15 minutes, even though I only spend a few seconds on most tables :)

"Pro" version sounds like a cool idea... yeah, count me in too, I'll happily leave a few bucks myself! :)

OK, back to the topic, really cool/useful to have harmonic series like the ones within this thread. Tried some, the other day with FM osc and achieved interesting "new" timbres.

Had NI Razor sometime ago and I remember and recognized some strong resemblance to the harmonic series type oscs there as well.

........

New video? :hyper:

a video would be cool yea :)
