I hate drag and drop. I can't even use a mouse. But in Bitwig Studio you don't have to drag everything from side of the screen to another. You can load instruments and effects by double clicking them in the browse or from within the Devices area itself, for Bitwig devices and presets you have saved. If you want to be dragging in a lot of samples, my suggestion is to drag the left side of the browser right over so there is minimal distance to drag them. You can literally have it so you only have to drag a sample half an inch (12mm) to the Launcher. In fact using the mouse keys method I mentioned earlier I can load a sample with 3 key presses if it's on the same level as a clip slot: N selects a sample and locks a drag, holding H for a second moves it over to a clip slot, and N releases the drag and drops the sample.Regnas wrote:The distance...kennyda wrote: Why don't you like it on the right?
The drag and drop operation in a large monitor will be a nightmare.
Of course you can preview them in sync from inside the Browser anyway.
