The upgrade from Padshop Basic (included in Cubase) to Pro is supposedly only €10, so I don't think that's the case. The discount may only work on the links from the Steinberg sale page, which is for the 'activation code' only I guess on the assumption you've already got the trial download. It's probably just a quirk of the store code.

Does anybody know Native Instruments' sale schedule? I'm sure there's nothing official, but I've noticed a trend over the past couple of years. There's usually one over the summer, then one for the holidays, isn't there?

Also, what do you think the odds are that Kinetic Metal and Drumlab will be included in K10U?

I have K9, and in a strange way I feel a bit hamstrung by these sales; I don't want to buy anything individually for full price when I know something is already included in K9U, or may be included in K10U.

Why am I getting a feeling that Image Line want to take advantage of a "special" day? Can't just offer 30% discount, no you gotta buy for at least 50 bucks....
