Oscillator Automation

Is it possible to automate the Oscillators? For example to switch from a pulse to a saw? With the Sylenth1 it is easy to automate the oscillators. I only have to switch them when I am in writing mode. I cant figure out how to do it with Zebra.

It is possible... perhaps it's somewhat different for every DAW.
In FL Studio I can simply tweak a control while recording and it simply records and I can edit the "recorded events" afterwards ...also, there are other options like automation clips as well if required..

I am using Sonar X3. With the Sylenth1 Sonar recognizes the oscillator switch but Zebra not. How do you switch the oscillators when you are in writing mode in FL? Do you go to the OSC1 Tab and switch the oscillators like you would do building a patch?

oscillator "switch"? not sure I understand what you're really after.
The wave warp parameter (the one used to morph/blend between the 16 waves) can be automated.
I don't have Sonar but for me in FL, there isn't any "special" method I have to use in order to automate...

I dont mean the wave warp parameter. I want to switch the whole wave set - for example the sin_tree to the pulse_table set.

No, you can't do that, afaik, it's not just a simple parameter change, it's loading new data. What you can do, which is something I do - record the same part with multiple waveforms/wavetables to audio, then switch between them, to create the illusion of wavesequencing. Bit heavyhanded, but it's fun!

It's not ideal, but you can use a second oscillator and a Mix device to "swap" oscillators. All you have to do is automate the Mix knob in your DAW. Put the Mix device so that the output flows into the rest of your signal chain and you're essentially done. It does use up a second OSC, but at least it can be contained in a single instance of Z2 and saved as a patch.
