For the record:
I've decided that when I release version 2 in a few months, it'll be too much hassle to expect everyone who's registered to pay extra for an upgrade, so it'll just be a free upgrade for version 1 owners!
So now there's no excuse not to register!

THE POST ABOVE IS FROM NOVEMBER 2002!
We can dream at least...maybe Mackie will still allow us a free upgrade as T1 users...

I am amazed that Tracktion 2 was even scheduled for a Jan / Feb 2003 release!
That would have meant...
Jan 2003 > Tracktion 2
Jan 2004 > Tracktion 3 (Linux and Mac version out by this time).
Jan 2005 > Tracktion 4 (Tracktion Takes over the Sequencing world as we know it)!

is from November 2002! I was just looking at the way things used to be! I suppose If Jules did release T2 back in Jan 2003 we would all be using Tracktion 3 by now!For the record:

Still not quite as good as your Tracktion 2 screenshot thread but isn't it amazing how quickly Jules was rolling things out back then.Tracktion 3 really would have been out by now.multree wrote:how come I missed that onechristianmusicmaker wrote:Floyd this post is from November 2002! If anything we would all be speculating about Tracktion 4 by now if Jules continued with his origninal release plans (back in 2002)for Tracktion.
Free upgrades to Tracktion 2 for V.1 users would be great though.

Man, I'll gladly pay for the T2 upgrade. Just hurry up with it already before I spend all my money
