How closely can Alpha Juno Patches be re-created in Diva?

I have an old MKS-50 that is not working properly anymore. There are some patches that I would like to try to re-create using a VST synth. How close can Diva get? The sound of the alpha Juno chorus is one of the things I am after.
I'm not much of a synth programmer, so would be starting with the settings of the
MKS-50 patches and try to tweak from there.
I've also asked this in the Linplug forum referencing Alpha 3.

The main difference between Diva and the MKS-50 is that latter has digital envelopes with 5 rate/level pairs. If the presets you want to recreate don't use them that way then you'll be fine. If I recall correctly, hardly any of the Alpha Juno factory presets used esoteric envelope shapes - most of them can be created by ADSR.SayersWeb wrote:I have an old MKS-50 that is not working properly anymore. Thank you for the info Urs! Most of the sounds I'm interested in were from various user sets. I will give it a try and see how it turns out.Urs wrote:The main difference between Diva and the MKS-50 is that latter has digital envelopes with 5 rate/level pairs. In conjunction with an earlier discussion about Oberheim envelopes, I'd say this makes a case for including either more alternate modelled envelope options or an extremely flexible and customizable user EG (U-hEG) in a future version of Diva.Urs wrote:The main difference between Diva and the MKS-50 is that latter has digital envelopes with 5 rate/level pairs. Is Zebra considered a dinosaur yet?
Perhaps Diva can emulate Zebra's MSEG?

Hahaha, we'll see where it goes
My brain is a bit too occupied with Bazille and Zebra at the moment, and I also have to deal with that dark cloud of performance issues lately… although in respect of latter I might have come up with something really cool for Diva users too - can't really say yet.
