Using plugins from Wavelab with Tracktion

Hi there...
I'm using the "clean compressor" in Wavelab as a "filter" (added via the relevant plugin path)and i'm getting really noticeable latency (when playing notes via the USB kbd). Any idea why this might be?
It's not happening with other plugins, including the Wavelab "Puncher" plugin.

Using latest demo version of T BTW.

prolly 'cos that plugin has a delay. Look at the delay setting for the track that contains the compressor. If it is a value other than zero, then the plug has a fixed latency.

yeah I realized it's probably because they are mastering plugins that incorporate a "look-ahead" way of processing.
