Ahh, it turns out that's the same one, discontinued many years ago...

Also, shouldn't the I-bars be tinted too, as in v7?

Aaah, ok, and your GPU? Is obviously missing the interior of the line, that should be easily fixable, just need to find it...

I did update my drivers with the complete Geforce driver package from the nVidia site. That should have updated the OpenGL drivers as well, right?

I'd rather not - this system has been running fine for years now. The curves in the v7 versions look fine as does all the other software here. The last time I looked at updating NVIDIA drivers it seemed like a can of worms.MeldaProduction wrote:Damn, discontinued too. Btw couls you try updating opengl drivers?

nvidia has changed a lot with their software over the last year.
i also had some problems with my still nicely working 4 years old asus gtx 460.
i requested a support ticket and sent them my computer information,it took some months but the newest driver is (again) working superb (in fact the last 3-4).
now it's not everyone's cup of tea to hunt for bugs but otherwise nvidia is not microsoft, for me it is worth to report bugs.
i recommend to always install the full driver package, also .net framework 4 is necessary
maybe there are other outdated drivers on the system that influence the graphics behavior.
ooops edit, this was about open gl,nevertheless maybe still a good read.

Well, darkstar & alphacodex, what os are you using?
Btw it worked in v7, because there was no gpu acceleration. You can still have that by disabling it in settings/enable gpu.

DAW: Logic X (10.0.6)
OS: Mac OS X (10.8.5)
Comp: Mac Pro (tower), 3.2 GHz quad-core intel xeon, 8 GB RAM

Hmm, this looks like corrupt settings. Could you send me the project to info@meldaproduction.com? (no resources, just the project file)

Darkstar & Codex : could you try to find opengl capabilities and send them to me? Usually these are available in 3d settings. You are both using nvidia gpus, so it is probablt something related to it.
