Congrats to the winners. An exclusively-free-only contest would obviously be interesting too.

Agree. Or a specific kind of effect, ie. best EQ, best compressor, etc.

Edit: I see there are only dynamics and reverb categories mentioned. I think EQ, delay, chorus, etc. could be included in the next 2014 awards..
That would also apply to free effects.
