Hi,
Voxengo Span has a Multi-Channel option, where you can view multiple channels in one analyser, like the Guitars or Bass+Kick and so on.
For this the Span plugins has multiple audio inputs. How can i do a routing of multiple tracks to this inputs?
How can i do this routing in Tracktion?

Racks! Chapter 9; looks slightly different in T5 but has same functionality.

FWIW, Melda Production MMultianalyzer does this too but without the complicated setup - all instances of the plugin you add just share the info amongst themselves...quite nice too

when you speak of the free version of span, this is not meant to give you different tracks in your daw, but different channels from the track you are using it. this can be left/right or mid/side or the different channels of multichannel audiofiles from surround etc....chaos318 wrote:Hi,

maybe tracktion racks allow you to route audiosignals from different tracks to a rack on another track, which would circumvent this limitation. maybe someone who knows can chime in ...
you can use voxengo gliss eq (or the mentioned melda production plugin), to get the spectrum of different tracks in one analyzer. in gliss eq you can then directly eq your instruments how you need it.

You can actually see 2 tracks at the same time in Span with the multi-input in a rack, precisely as the OP suggests.

looks like i have to investigate racks some more ...
i have only acknowledged them as a modular environment for plugins and overlooked the implementation in tracktion, which gives a whole lot of possibilities to play with. genius!

Yes, racks are the correct way.
But the problem here is that the Plugins does not offer additional inputs.
Its the VST3 Plugin-Version, with the VST2 Version it seems to work.
Its the same behaviour in other DAWs, the Span VST3 plugin seems not to offere the additional inputs.
So, Span VST2 in combination with Racks works.
Thanks for help!
