hey jake, didn't you get the refill and were going to share your thoughts with us? did that get deleted? if so maybe post it to the instruments forum. I'm still on the fence with this refill and need more info.

No, it wasn't deleted. There were a bunch of refill threads but if no one posted on them in a while they can fall back into the KVRchives. Set your KVR to be able to see messages older than 30 days perhaps and do a search. It'll pop up.
Glad you like the Sonic Refill box set. There's also volumes 7-15 for less than $50. each as well. Volume 1-5 is the same as what you have in the Sonic Refill box (beware) but the vol 7-15 have completely different material and it's the same usable musical quality in more specific instrument groups (especially drums, vintage and ethnic instruments).

Ummm... wow. I just noticed something VERY odd indeed! It seems this thread is missing in action! You're right. But, it wasn't deleted. In fact, if you search in your profile under posts you've made this thread shows up "Sonic Refill Opinions" and you can click on it and arrive there. I just did that and posted "Is this the thread you were looking for?" but strangely enough after I posted on it the thread did NOT pop up to the top of the SR company forum thread list... I've never seen that happen! How strange. Try it yourself and see. You can read the whole thread when accessing it from JAKEYBUBBA's profile post search, but not from the regular forum access... must be some kind of glitch in the Matrix.
Shame it was a good thread too with 3 pages going. Hmmm. Maybe Ben knows.

We have positions open for interns at both SR and IK US (which by the way are in the same building now... this is the IK US distribution office, not the IK home office which is in Italy). However, interns are usually 18-25 years old looking for experience in the MI industry. In other words, it's not a paying position. However, I know a bunch of interns that worked for a while this way and now have nice paying positions at either company. So, it's an opportunity to show what one can do and in the worste case scenario they get something that looks good on their resume'.

I mis-spoke. I only bought two more, World Percussion and Ethnic Instruments. I have doing some more or less esoteric music lately and these work nicely in that context. They are very "ethnic" and "world" and very useable.
BTW, there is a favorable review of one of the drum refills in one of the us music mags. But I can't remember where I read it. I'm sure squids has the details.

Cool sig Multree.
Thanks Ben.
I think EQ magazine had a review of Reality Drums which they liked. You'll be seeing some reviews pop up soon I think.
I like those two ethnic refills a lot as well. Good choice.
