Money is no problem in my case, but still, I would feel that I wasted money if I bought an expensive plugin like that. Thus I prefer to donate 100 bucks to people who really need it, while I have fun with my cheaper stuff :D

I am a rather political person, and while it is interesting, the whole music industry is a bit absurd because of its luxury and vanity. People are starving to death as we speak, and we are talking about 0df filters and trading virtual stuff that doesn't even exist, it is absurd when you think about it :?
Well, it's a hobby that keeps us sane... If we would every day watch Youtube videos with starving kids, it doesn't make the world better, and it cannot cure depressions, either.

I'm in a pretty difficult and poor situation myself, and I need (listening AND producing) music (and KVR discussions about audio stuff) as distraction and to take my mind off all the problems. If I would read every day whole newspapers with all bad news of the world and would watch documentaries about starving kids (while I couldn't help them because I'm struggling myself to get enough to eat), I would have to jump out of the window.

Sorry to hear that. In Bavaria at least there is lots of money should you really need help. Nobody needs to starve in Germany. Even if it is a bit humiliating, you CAN ask for help if you really need it.

I don't watch videos of starving children, either, but just a few days ago there was a documentary on Africa on TV. Seeing how people still live in some places there often reminds me of the privileged life I lead.

There are still places where people would be happy to get a cheap acoustic guitar, they don't think about Windows 8.1...

But to make music, you don't need a 1000 EUR highspeed multimedia computer with 10.000 EUR audio software at all - pick up an old acoustic guitar and a cheap drum, and you can make songs...

It only matters that U-he have kick-ass stuff for making music,
and there's a continuous discount - the dinosaur crossgrade - it's not enough?
Is the dinosaur crossgrade still available? I've put a request in, but I wasn't sure if it's still running.

Post

Hi S.,

yes, the Dino Crossgrade is still available, but it seems you didn't read the fine print on the Crossgrade page before submitting your pic... ;)
Cheers

The U-he synths are very well priced and are a great value. I own Zebra2, Zebra HZ, ACE and Diva and the day Bazille comes out I will purchase that as well. For may, many years I had to shell out at least $ 2,000 - $ 5,000 a year for new synths just to keep up with the advances in the industry -- getting fantastic soft synths for these prices is nothing short of a miracle!
Thank you Urs!

Thanks URS! If i had his http://patcharena.com/synth-project-div ... ller-u-he/ too i don't think i will need any other synth.
