the vst has to canDo "receiveVstSysexEvent" on order to receive them.
The only one I know supporting Midituning is Synthogy Ivory II, but I think it only supports the "static" tuning, not the Realtime variant?
Would that be for timbre or for per note pitch (I tried both without success).
It would make more sense to re-translate the Poly Aftertouch that is translated to timbre back to PA IMO, since much more VSTs support PA and it's a proper per note modifier.
The above could be considered for per note pitch, but it really depends if any plugins actually support this stuff...
Hopefully VST 3.x support and real note expression isn't too far off
