Is there a way to make Zebra display only starred presets in a list or virtual folder? Otherwise I have to hunt through multiple folders to find them.

Just a thought: what if you moved your favorite patches into a separate folder?

Yeah I thought of that, but then what's the point of having stars as metadata? Ideally I want to leave the files where they are, not move or copy them, to maintain the original directory structure, then filter by criteria like stars, author and sound category. But that would be a lot of work for Urs to add a database component.
In the meantime I guess I can re- save favorites in a different user folder.

A favourites folder (and more tagging methods) are on our ever growing todo list. Can't yet say what or when or how.

Thanks for the info. I do like how the patch browser mirrors the directory structure on disk, and how you can drag between folders right in the plugin. If you could sort of add tagging on top of that instead of replacing it with a completely abstract virtual system, that would be awesome.

Sure
I don't like complete abstractions, hence I would always only add other views as an optional perspective.
