Not so sure about that.
Please don't start with the strawman fallacies, that's not what I said at all now is it.
Mushy Mushy wrote:Reoccurring has now been included in the dictionary but only due to the frequency of misuse.
Exactly like expedite vs expediate.
Well, if it's in the dictionary then it's valid. Ye olde English changes I'm afraid!

Just look at what the Americans have done to our language. Someone corrected me the other day for saying no offence. Apparently they think it's offense. :o
Geez don't listen to American's re spelling. Aluminium *cough*

Anyway back to BW.

I am not gonna swim while I were promised a boat all the time! I already feel repeating myself too much here.. this was about latency, workflow, give me a break, will ya? Workflow is fine. Something good there for sure :tu:
Next month or later this latency trouble is gonna cost this project. Trust me. Please do consider. Live'll just catch an easy fish this way. They study what you guys are doing at BW HQ and you can't match their budget. Time is more sparse than ever. Use it well. No more fooling around. Live is going to redive soon.. NI can come up with "something completely different". Because they milked dry their "concept" to its limits. What I am trying to say is: fix the latency trouble ASAP

And I'm very happy with Bitwig Studio. The PDC it is very good, not perfect, but it is very very good!

In the first test I did with Ableton Live 9.

I used the synthesizer: Sylenth1 + Cableguys VolumeShaper 3 (to create the Sidechain 1/4 - in beat sync)
Captura-de-Tela-2014-03-26-às-23.10.11.png
In the first test: not used any more plugin.
In the second test: used with FabFilter MB.
In the third test: used with Brainworx XL V2 (is a plugin that requires a lot of processing)
In the fourth test: I used, iZotope Ozone 5 Maximizer

Tests in Ableton Live, have much latency. You can see the images.
Captura de Tela 2014-03-26 às 23.08.12.png
Then I did the same tests on Bitwig Studio. And he did MUCH better.

See that in Ableton Live with the plugin Brainworx XL V2 there is a much higher latency.
Also without any plugin Live features a small latency.

Bitwig Studio exists in latency, but very very little.

I liked it!

What's the problem? Who has not?
I wish I had money to buy all the plugins that I like. But I'm not.

So some famous douche did it, that doesn't make it ok. People like you make me sad for the current state of the world. Trying to pretend like stealing is ok... Seriously shame on you.

KVR is a site where the actual developers partake in conversations about the products they developed so don't try justifying your use of warez..

robojam wrote:While I understand why Bitwig went with a close beta test, I think things like this show the benefits of a more public beta. Fixing the code this quickly because the bug wasn't found until v1.0 isn't the best approach to coding.
On top of that, it's just like showing closed beta testers are dumb...

The difference, mate, is that the developer you have ripped off by using his software without paying, provides support to users right here on this website.

Camel Audio
U-he
FXpansion
Image-Line

There are more. All of these companies have an active developer presence right here on this forum. We make a living providing software and support to people who pay for it.

Take your warez somewhere else, show some respect.

Peace,
Andy.

So this 'wild knob is demanding changes to be made to software he has stolen.
F*ck me, the audacity.

Hello sir, I'm about to steal your car. You wouldn't mind servicing it for me first though.

We've now reproduced and fixed the delay compensation for device automation, which wouldn't work as it should when the automated device was placed after a plug-in which introduced a delay. We also fixed the transport info one. Those will both be in 1.0.4.
