Next month or later this latency trouble is gonna cost this project. Trust me. Please do consider. Live'll just catch an easy fish this way. They study what you guys are doing at BW HQ and you can't match their budget. Time is more sparse than ever. Use it well. No more fooling around. Live is going to redive soon.. NI can come up with "something completely different". Because they milked dry their "concept" to its limits. What I am trying to say is: fix the latency trouble ASAP

Hello friends. I also did the latency test.
And I'm very happy with Bitwig Studio. The PDC it is very good, not perfect, but it is very very good!

In the first test I did with Ableton Live 9.

I used the synthesizer: Sylenth1 + Cableguys VolumeShaper 3 (to create the Sidechain 1/4 - in beat sync)

In the first test: not used any more plugin.
In the second test: used with FabFilter MB.
In the third test: used with Brainworx XL V2 (is a plugin that requires a lot of processing)
In the fourth test: I used, iZotope Ozone 5 Maximizer

Tests in Ableton Live, have much latency. You can see the images.

Then I did the same tests on Bitwig Studio. And he did MUCH better.

See that in Ableton Live with the plugin Brainworx XL V2 there is a much higher latency.
Also without any plugin Live features a small latency.

Bitwig Studio exists in latency, but very very little.

While I understand why Bitwig went with a close beta test, I think things like this show the benefits of a more public beta. Fixing the code this quickly because the bug wasn't found until v1.0 isn't the best approach to coding.

On top of that, it's just like showing closed beta testers are dumb...

The difference, mate, is that the developer you have ripped off by using his software without paying, provides support to users right here on this website.

We've now reproduced and fixed the delay compensation for device automation, which wouldn't work as it should when the automated device was placed after a plug-in which introduced a delay. We also fixed the transport info one. Those will both be in 1.0.4.
