Still works here...Windows 7 64bit, Bitwig 1.03
I had no problem double clicking or dragging and dropping an effect to a selected track.

By the way this version is the first to be able to detect my Presonus Firebox audio device. I've been using the demo for about an hour now and so far no crashes. If they keep addressing issues this fast I may just buy the full version real soon.

You have to love a company that fixes bugs that quick. Good show by Bitwig so far.

Win 7 x64 here too. No problems with adding Audio FX to an Instr or Audio track using 1.0.3.

I changed to single view and it worked again, changed back to dual monitor view and now it's good again :tu:

As soon as someone buys my Live Suite including 54 GB of sounds I don't use I'll be wearing my Bitwig.

Wiggle it... just a little BIT!

I'm pretty sure they only had like 10 beta testers. They should have had 1000.

Maybe the limited amount of beta testers was their biggest mistake now they are dealing with all the s*ht at ones

Yea it looks like their beta group was maybe too small and focussed... I don't doubt that they tested some specific features really well but they maybe needed more 'normal' amateur musicians throwing all sorts of weird shit at the program as it's the rare and unusual things that catch you off guard.

The other way to look at it is there were a certain amount of developers working on it. If we assume they were working full time then adding more beta testers would have raised more issues but it wouldn't mean that those particular issues would have been fixed in time for the 1.0 release.

Of course it may have altered the priorities to some degree, but that would mean that things that do work now would be broken or partially working instead. Which would likely mean that the same complaints arise (what were the testers doing?) but from people with different priorities for their workflow.

The only way to have had more stuff working for release is to add more developers which was probably not economically feasible.

Now that its released and people are paying for the product they might be able to afford more developers and hopefully the bugs will get squashed quickly. :)

One thing I really don't get - how did they fail to notice that PDC doesn't work? It's like nobody has even bothered to test it! Yet they confirmed that it was working several months ago. I really don't get how this could slip through all the beta testers and programmers unnoticed.

Win8.1 Can't drag and drop Instruments like PolySynth or Audio FX to arrange view/Devices, but works with only the Comb FX, Filter, Peak Limiter, Ring Mod, Tool and Transient Control?

EDIT: Restarting the program seems to work.
