as in Reaper....
You can do this while holding down CTRL+ ALT.

I just tried it and on my mac that is not zooming ....this scroll left and right ....and I already can do that by sweeping my 2 finger left/right ....anyway even if it was zooming, having to press ctrl-alt would be slower than using the mouse

have already written about this before...

* Midi Export

I'd really love to see mousewheel/trackpad control of parameters when hovering over knobs and sliders in Bitwig. This makes it a joy to use the apple trakpad. Most DAWs allow this, except Ableton and now Bitwig.

Also dragging and dropping clips/audio regions into plug-in samplers. This is possible in Ableton and would be very handy in Bitwig.

Would love to see a revert to midi for clips that were bounced in place, like Studio One. Just an amzing feature and really does make freeze unnecessary. Currently freeze is still useful because with bounce in place you can't go back, so you'd have to save the midi clip first somewhere.

This would be huge.

Removes the hassle of sequestering a wasteland of homeless midi clips in the clip launcher.

I first suggested that feature to Logic about 9 years ago when they came out with freeze. I told them they should allow audio editing on the frozen track and edit the underlying midi track at the same time, then when you unfroze, the midi data would be there where you moved the audio. It's a simple concept, but nobody did it until Studio One...

It would be perfect in Bitwig with it's hybrid tracks because you could just revert certain regions.

copy and paste oscillators in polysynth

Simple request:

* The addition of k-12 metering since we already have k-20 - for my personal use, k-12 is more useful.

Wishful thinking:

* I'd like to see more advanced automation functions such as StudioOnes transform tool:

* Pith correction built-in, also similar to StudioOne and now Logic.

* A vocoder that can do some cool stuff, like Vocodex (Fl Studio) - that thing is insane.

Post

that automation transform tool is sweet... it is more useful than the lfo cause it can be edited into complex shapes and not simple repetitions.

1 Full Support for popular midi controllers on Linux
2 Ability to re-size channel strips in Mix section (very helpful for use with dummy clips or when work with large amount of tracks )
3 Ability to map device on/off in the macros
4 Native BeatRepeat like device
5 Learn Controller Assignment for clips?

I wanted to add the ability to do layered editing with audio files. This would be useful to get waveforms to match up (for phase reasons etc...)

And one thing that does annoy me is the order of the windows

Arrange. Mix. Edit - i feel it should be Arrange. Edit. Mix for obvious reasons.

Odd. Horizontal zooming works from me when holding Ctrl+option and 2-finger swiping up/down. Btw, how would you scroll the track list up/down if you want the same motion used for zooming (on a trackpad)?

Post

over all feature request before for me,
custom location for user library folder(where clips are saved),mouse scroll support for values would be really nice :hihi:
