pitch correction tool
variable height for mixer cursors
variable size for clip launch buttons grid
automatic labeling (or color) of knobs when adding new bus tracks
better midi routing
tracks collapse (track groups)
lfo for binary values 0-1 (switches)
better arpeggiator
scene states (possibility to save snapshots for mixer volumes, knobs, effects states and switch them)
the mouse cursor should not change its state when controlling vst plugin
transparency overlay of vst gui
oscilloscope or more pro audio visualizers
audio scattering plugin

+100 grain delay and texture warp mode are difficult to go without, lots of sound design possibilitiesAlkamist wrote: - More choices for granular stretching algorithms (Stretch and Stretch HD suck for acoustic guitars).
my dream would be to native fx similar to FL´s granulizer (intuitve and great sounding granuliser), and add a warp mode similar to texture in ableton

Sure it has been mentioned before but need some fixes in the note editor/piano roll:
- If fold is enabled and you click another clip, the view occasionally shoots up to the top octave and you have to scroll all the way back down
- If you are zoomed out way to the right on a 32 bar long clip then click a 1 bar clip, the view occasionally gets stuck off to the side and you have to roll all the way back to the left
- In my opinion the edge dragging moves way too fast - it might just be excessive mouse sensitivity on my part but if I'm dragging a bunch of notes up or down on the piano as soon as I even skim the top edge it shoots up like an octave or two. Maybe needs a greater exponential curve, like as you get near the edge it moves slower but if you push really hard upwards then it moves as fast as it currently does. Could just be me though.
- Drawing a note with the pencil tool and dragging to make it longer occasionally makes it jump a spot to the right
- In general the note entering functionality could be improved - someone posted a fantastic example of Geist's piano roll which I'd never seen before. Maybe make it so that the piano roll behaves differently if a drum machine is the main instrument on a track, and give it some uber step sequencer functionality?
EDIT: Oh and outside the piano roll:
- I wish I could use velocity sensitivity in stuff like the sampler to modulate more things, especially things in the FX chain. I understand why they are currently limited, because velocity is per-note and you can't automate most of the FX per note, but some sort of compromise would be really useful for me, like only taking the first velocity in the case where two notes overlap.
If this IS possible, it would then also be fantastic to have a 'midi control mod' in the modulator section, where you have access to velocity, aftertouch, pitchbend, modwheel to modulate an FX chain, again just taking the first value in cases where there are two overlapping signals like with velocities.
EDIT2: Actually even better behaviour would probably be to always take the most recent velocity, instead of the first in a group. Maybe an option to switch between the two (use oldest velocity in case of overlap/use newest velocity in case of overlap)

is there some kind of scrub/playback tool in the editors or have I missed something

how do u listen only a part of clip or only a group of midi notes (which ones have been selected by the Time Selection Tool) or chords quickly - playing with the loop region seems huge time consumption for me

exactly same stuff for medrhawk wrote:x64 support, what exactly do you mean?
I'm looking for:
PDC fixes
multi channel support (midi/audio)
group channels
dB values in text on the small volume peak displays in channel strips
Project + channel name on each VST window title bar
space bar starting playback when VST is focused
per channel ms delay
per channel midi transpose
(while PDC seems to be solved now)

most of the requests are already posted but some are not.
if the bugs are killed and these features are added Bitwig will reign supreme.
- add ability to follow playback cursor in note & automation editor
- rename drum pads by double click
- rename tracks by double click
- ability to rename midi controllers
- x0x style step sequencer module to work in combination with drum machine
- scrollwheel support for zooming and changing parameters
- totally free & flexible sends (sends on send channels)
- ability to put effects pre or post fader
- flexible trackwidth - vertical zooming on track + full stereo waveform representation in arrange window
- phase invert knobs on channels
- track delay on channels
- fast way for routing channels to a bus (select channels -> right click -> choose send to audio track/bus)
- favorites folder in the devices+presets browser -> right click on vst plugin -> add to favorites + ability to rename (the shortcuts) plugins in favorites folder
- invert zooming
- smart tool
- templates
- new modulator - Visual freehand Envelope generator
- visual representation of the envelopes on top of the waveform in the sampler
- Frequency analyzer module
- free assignable hotkeys
- full midi in/out routing
- ability to-> bypassing plugins takes the plugin out of the CPU, at the moment when you bypass a plugin it keeps taxing the cpu i noticed
- Duplicate track + duplicate track w/ audio like in studio one
- Performance monitor like in studio where you can see all used devices/plugins and how much cpu each instance uses + what the latency is, when clicking the plugin there it immediately opens the plugin windows. You can see which plugin is using the most resources, so you can shut off the plugins that use the most cpu and freeze the track. very handy!

Track grouping and better Arpeggiator.. specifically, the ability to unsync it and change the rate freely.. was one of my fave tricks for triggering lead sounds in AL.
- Suppose another option here would be to add a new free running or synched midi re-trigger device with a length / hold and release setting

relative automation in arranger too. (not just in clip launcher)
layered editing in clip launcher too. (not just in arranger)
i don't know why do they limit these great feature to just one part .
option to fix master and send track.

I would like to be able to bounce multiple tracks to a new track without having to go through the export option and then re-importing the exported audio. The bounce options for a single track are very good already, so it would be cool if they took this functionality to its logical end.
Bitwig seems to be going for a very resampling-friendly approach, so this addition would make it the ultimate tool for resampling addicts like myself.

- Decent midi editing tools. Velocity editing is a real pain right now.
- A line tool or a way to create lines in automation and velocity editing
- the ability to break automation points by holding a modifier key and dragging across them.

+5 Yes Yes and YES! It would be awesome if we could select multiple channels a do a bounce function. I really hope this happens. Cause as It stadns, I think Abletons re-sampling function is more effective for something like this.NicksTutorials wrote:I would like to be able to bounce multiple tracks to a new track without having to go through the export option and then re-importing the exported audio.
