Nice pad, love it...
BTW, have you talked with Peter/Linplug about the release of the soundset and a link on his soundpage from Spectral? We already talked about this and my soundset is already listed up there, he want to add your's, too...

Cheers, Frank. I posted in his forum several times announcing things. He wanted to put the release of my first Spectral set in their Newsletter, but then they didn't, for whatever reason. So I'll just let him know when this is out of the door and maybe he will announce it, maybe not.Xenox.AFL wrote:Nice pad, love it...

I just released my second set for Spectral:

This second soundset by Simon Stockhausen for LinPlug's Spectral contains 100 patches focussing on very musical and expressive lead sounds, rich, dreamy, glassy, cold and lush pads, groovy and futuristic sequences, complex and ethereal soundscapes, electronic textures inspired by the world of science fiction and some dark and deep drone sounds from the core of the underworld.
All waveforms and filter shapes in this soundset are programmed from scratch, exploring new and exciting sonic territories. The Modwheel is assigned for most of the patches, many presets also use Aftertouch.
You can view/download the PDF for this soundset with more details, the licence agreement and the patchlist, including playing tips and descriptions for each patch here.
Sound Categories:
Delivery: Email
Product page.
All demos below were produced entirely with Spectral using only patches from Spectral Rays, no post-processing was applied apart from a limiter on the outputs and some volume automation, if several instances of Spectral were used in a track. If a demo does use 3rd party FX, it will be mentioned in the track title.

Here is a first video, patch runthrough letters A through D, just jamming a bit with each patch. At one point there are some CPU glitches as I had my buffer very low to reduce latency while jamming.

Really really beautifull soundset !
I'm like a big fan of your work (well, for what I own, the padshop set, and spectral excursion).
I never write on forums aso... But this time I decided to do so, because, well, your sounds made me think of my childhood, I mean, when I listened to Vangelis, Art of noise, Laurie Anderson, etc... Your soundset today made me feel this way (the falling mouth, fixed stair...).
So, thank you.
I just can say to owner of spectral : BUY IT, DON'T HESITATE, if you love sound, it worth the few euros it costs.

Thank you very much for the flowers, your post certainly makes inventing new sounds on this grey sunday afternoon much sweeter! I used to be into Laurie Anderson a lot in my younger days and Vangelis was one of my heroes when I started investigating my first Mini Moog at the age of 9. So it's all in there somehow...
I took the freedom to quote your post on the Spectral Rays page, I hope that's fine with you.
