Hi,

I've just changed to mac and am experiencing the following problems:

- the cursor doesn't always scroll
- key combinations are slow and clumsy (either you don't paste or you do it twice for example)
- instant crash when trying to load absynth 2.04 or 2.05 as a plug-in.
- crashes with multiple instances of intakt

Any chance of solving this now or in the future? Especially not being able to use absynth as a filter is pretty annoying...

Thanks!

BTW Hi everybody, nice to be on these boards...

welcome aboard!
- the cursor doesn't always scroll
This is a known problem also present in other OSs and should (hopefully) be addressed in one of the future updates.
- key combinations are slow and clumsy (either you don't paste or you do it twice for example)
You can remap all shortcuts to your liking in Settings.
- instant crash when trying to load absynth 2.04 or 2.05 as a plug-in.
This is not a problem with Tracktion but most likely with your setup. Try creating a new clean user account and try it there, or perhaps try turning off/temporarily removing all possible OS customizations, if you have any. I had a situation where all NI apps would crash Tracktion bad and I quickly tracked it down to a customized kb layout in my /Library/Keyboard Layouts folder.

Sorry, I have no idea about Intakt.

Good luck!

thanks, sent a mail to NI for the absynth thing. Really dissapointed about the stability of the Komplete 2 package in general by the way, even the installer doesn't work properly :?
scrolling thing is bit of a pain, but wel, not that much of a problem.

thanks again,

no probs here with Absynth (not from the Komplete installer) 2.04 or now with 2.05. I am running OSX 10.3.4 and the latest version of Tracktion. You do know when you install a NI app that you have to open the standalone first before you open the plugin within a host. Perhaps delete your absynth prefs and such do a clean 2.04 install repair persmissions open standalone and than update to 2.05 do the same than restart and try the plugin in Tracktion. Like I said before never had a prob ever with Absynth and Tracktion this goes back to early Tracktion OSX beta and Absynth 2.01 and up. It is actually my main weopon with Tracktion, making some beats and synths in Reason rewireing it to Tracktion and use those thick lush sounding Absynth pads that I have made that you simply cant do with Reason. Good luck to you. That damn cursor problem NEEDS to be fixed though! Cant help you with Intakt but I could go on to name a few other OSX bugs. I hope v2 is really "OSX optimized"!

Im running Kontact and Absynth in Tracktion. OSX 10.3.4. No problems, and I dont have to open the stand alone first either.
