So can MRotary do everything that MVintageRotary can do, but more? Or are they completely different plugins?

Not really, they are different. Technically MRotary can do everything MVintageRotary does, but sounds different.

So MVintageRotary is the more accurate (sounding) Leslie speaker simulation, and MRotary is the autopan monster?

I think I may have found a bug in MRotary. When you go into the edit page and start using the randomization features (for example a random cabinet, but the same is true with the amp) it seems to also randomize the enable/disable button, so it will turn it off and on randomly as well. I say this is a bug as I dont see how anyone would want enable/disable to be randomized when searching for a cabinet.

Tricky:
But it's way not just autopan!

I can understand bypassing the cab when randomizing the whole plugin, but if you are specifically looking to randomize the cabinet, why would it be intent to randomize the on/off switch too? If I'm randomizing the cab it means I want to hear different cabs, right?MeldaProduction wrote:Tricky:But it's way not just autopan!

Perhaps its simply not possible to have it do both. If so then I understand. If not, and its still intent, can you explain what you were intending?

I understand. Anyway the idea is that you can just ignore every control and rather randomize subsections in which case "you don't know what you want". It also works together with the global randomizer, which uses these subsections and there you definitely don't want to have it always enabled.
Your idea makes sense though, I need to think about it, not promising anything.

Hi Vojtech.
Thanks for this update.
The reset button let my finger rest
and the V7 style works great.
The width info in the in/out panel is a great plus.
Its possible view the preset name in the editor panel in a next update?
I want link the ceiling and threshold in mdynamic limiter in a linear way so when i set ceiling at -10db the threshold also go to -10db, how i can do it?
Thanks again for all and Blessings.

Thank you!
About preset names - sorry, but no, no space for it. About the ceiling & threshold link - multiparameters
. Check this tutorial:

I'm loving the sound of this plugin but I'm coming across a little issue. When I switch from fast/slow or vise versa, I often get a click sound. It's fairly random. Sometimes it happens in both channels and sometimes it happens only in left or right. This is just using the default setting of Mrotar. I'm running things in Reaper and it seems to do this whether I'm in 32 or 64bit. I'm on a quad i5 iMac with OSX 10.9.2. So, I have plenty of power to spare. I've tried disabling GPU acceleration and that didn't seem to have any effect on the problem. Any ideas?

This is not the plugin.... it's Reaper, saving the undo all the time. To fix it, select al MeldaProduction plugins, click using your right mouse button and
enable "Save minimal undo states".
enable "Save minimal undo states".

Ahh! Thank you so much! I had no idea that setting was even there or that it could cause this sort of issue. That definitely took care of the problem. From a sound designer aspect, MRotary is pretty amazing. You can add some serious depth to very basic sounds.MeldaProduction wrote:This is not the plugin.... it's Reaper, saving the undo all the time.
