Recording a VSTi (from a newbie)

Hello all--

I'm trying to use Turntablist Pro to process a wav file, which I can record and export to lay into a composition in another program (Reason). When I try to do it, I'm getting a very degraded output, distorted and low volume level. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Apologies in advance if this is a "duhhh" question.

If the volume is too low, try normalising it in an audio editor like Audity. That's gonna set the volume @ 0db.

As for the quality, check your export options & make sure your at 44.1/16 bit.

I don't use Traktion, btu this stuff applies to just about any DAW
