ACE Chorus/Phaser Question?

Just noticed that when I turn the mix knob to zero, fully counter clockwise,
it sounds slightly different compared to turning the fx off in the menu.
Is there some processing going on even when the mix knob is at zero?

The on/off switch also switches the EQ off. The EQ has a phase shifting effect on ACE, even in zero position
