well, I think my maximum is like 30 tracks with 10 VSTis and I got seriously lost in that project . But I'd really like to have a symphonic orchestra at my disposal! -

Well, it's everyone's own choice to use the method of his/her liking.
For instance, I've read about a producer-duo (don't recall their name) that often uses thousands of audio snippets just for a single(!) song.
I think it's interesting to hear about the reasons and the ideas behind those techniques. That's what curious people do.
The silly ones make jokes that only reflect their small world in opposition to the habit of being open minded. (2ct)

I know there's MMultiBandChorus but a similar plugin with different approach - an effect which convincingly creates a choir from a single vocal - would be a great thing!
Especially if it could be used to create the impression of several instruments, too, for example a violin ensemble...
