Now for my question again...anybody know why the banks here wont open into my Temp Net folder

Don't expect a lot of empathy & assistance from us when you say you have 3 versions of Cubase & no dongle for ANY versions; how f**king stupid do you think we are here? Spe3d has been more than generous with you. You'll find others' attitude to warez useage here to close to zero-tolerance.

Sickle, you know I normally jump hard when I see a warze user, most know I have a nose for them - but this does not feel like a warze user to me - maybe I am getting old or something - passive even, something strange is happening, I feel dead cool with the world at the momnet. People just don't seem to realize the incredible amount of intellect that gets placed into Digital Audio. That misunderstanding makes them think once the download is over, they're gonna be instant 'Producers'.

But it only took a very short time to realize just how wrong it really was exploiting these talented people who are changing the face of how music is made in our society. If he bought it from a friend or something like that, it may be a crack and he is unaware of it. (though his question as to who never used illegal software seemed a bit defensive in the way crack users are)

First of all the experts should know that there have been releases that had no 'Dongel','Dangle'.'Dingle'..or even a 'Smimgol'

I wrote wrong when I said I had 3 versions...I meant I had 2.

One was bought and one was given...neither had parts to place in the back of the PC because they were cheap..introduction to the product type deals.

However, it is not easy coming here and reading the level of conversation concerning music creation and saying 'I have too cheap copies of Cubase because I dont have the money to spend more' with people who actually advertise their equipment in their signatures.

Strangly enough I have seen that the most critical people seem to have the least knowledge...because if you opened your eeys for a moment and stop 'witch hunting' you would know that versions of Cubase were released as I noted (and as 3D agreed).

Rather than go and download a pirate version I bought a cheaper version to learn...this it seems is not enough for the 'experts' who feel we should all be able to invest thousands and know how to use it in minutes.

Your speech was heart warming and rallied the troops in your battle against the evil pirates (maybe you should change your name to Mr Bush)...but you sounded like a reformed smoker...I pointed out and was correct that nobody (more or less) on the net can throw stones while living in glass houses. No matter if your clean as a whistle now...you still stole eqwipment...and then pointed at me without even being able to prove your claims...thats ok it seems you know less than you realise.

Please remember that you were once new to creating music on a computer and you should extend that to other new people.

One point I would to make is that I hope you dont talk to people like you have to me in real (and it would be funny if you tried)...beacuase I think your piano playing days would end very quickly.

Now the question i originally asked was meant to place me in the area of theft of product. The answer to my question was actually in the Help file so even if I stole it I would still be able to find it..it wasnt something that was manual only...sure I was 'lazy' and hoped for a quicker answer but it doenst mean I stole my profuct or that you are any more inteeligent..and this attack proves as much.

Strictly speaking, with software that is incorrect. Some software cannot be transferred to another user under terms of the license. To do so is a breach of copyright.

surely you can see why all the suspicious comments though right? I mean even from a basic standpoint, to ask help for something, you should probably know what you're using eh? Plus VST 32 version isn't exactly beginners version. Maybe Cubasis or something. I'm still on the middle of the fence in this one.
