You can't believe how much I want to post screenshots.

Still need to bring the current rush of bugfixes (-> latest builds) to an end before getting lost in the forums

The anticipation makes it all the more exciting! Take the time you need to make that wow-factor go to 11...

Hehehe, Dan currently works on a tut for another synth, but we'll surely ask him. Just can't say when :)
How many beer tokens will Bazille cost?
I forgot. It must have been posted somewhere. The geek factor is high, which is a reason for us to not to exaggerate.

Of course, there'll be an intro offer for early adopters (which evidently is drawn 98+% from existing users, so it's also kind of a loyality bonus)
Do I really need to dig around and find one of those "shut up and take my money" memes?

Post

Urs whats the timeline on being able to download a version of the new bazille?

Post

Having Bazille soon would be a beautiful and awesome wedding gift for me, Urs! :tu: :)

There's no real timeline for the public beta, but we're aiming to release the beast onto our tame team of beta testers within this week... :hyper:

how long typically is it from release to beta team until release to public...assuming theres a fair amount of bugs? Really want to get this into my production aresenal asap

Post

That really depends on what our beta team have to say. If they only find a few niggles, then we can make the beta public fairly soon. But in the case of Bazille, I think we should give them a decent amount of time to experiment extensively, and to really give them a fair chance at breaking the new toy. (Let's hope they don't succeed with the latter.)

So the public beta very likely won't happen this week, and we probably shouldn't speculate about the future before we know more about the internal beta. :)

The alpha version is nicely oversampled already. The final version has an additional option to "not oversample as much and use half the CPU" :clown:
