But did the installation succeed? Can you send me a screenshot of this message? Windows saying that it hasn't been installed correctly is pretty normal, it's really an irrelevant message.

Is there a more detailled version history where I can see what bugs/features exactly have been changed? Would be interesting to read.
It is good to hear that others get that "was not correctly installed" message, too. From a users perspective, this is not normal because it happens very rarely. For me, a message like this disturbs the professional impression that I get of a piece of software. I expect good software to install without any error messages, regardless of serious or meaningless.
Anyway, thanks a lot for the constant flow of development and updates.

I'm pretty sure that the plug-ins were installed OK - they load and run as before. The pop-window is a standard Windows 7 one - next time I get it I'll send it to you.MeldaProduction wrote:But did the installation succeed? Can you send me a screenshot of this message? Hi
Dynamic EQ v8 is a huge improvement on v7, although now i can not right click a band to bring up the options window (to adjust threshold etc). When i do right click, both the plug in window and the Live window top bars grey out, as if i have clicked another app window or a window has opened which i can not see...
I am running Ableton Live 9.0.1 on a Mac running OSX 10.6.8.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I just checked in Live 9.1.2 on Mac with both VST and AU and everything seems fine. Please update Live, it has always been a problematic host, so maybe they fixed something. If it won't help, please record a short screen video, so I can see what we are dealing with.

Just something in between: thanks so much for the MMultiBandLimiter. This plug is amazing! It really took my mixing to the next level!

I also got that message "This program might not have installed correctly"
Plugins install ok and I think that in my case it got something to do with my anti-virus software Avast because the Avast widget pop up a message "Scanning downloaded file..." or something similar.

Actually it's Windows... Totally irrelevant message, but it shows it, always did... But only sometimes, on some computers, rather strange... Anyway the plugins have been installed correctly.
